cerita ni macam lari sikit dari cerita Narnia tapi tetap menyumbang secara keseluruhan.. bermula pada zaman Golden Age of Narnia, dimana seorang budak lelaki bernama Shasta yang lari daripada tanah air nya.. dalam pada yang sama Shasta telah bertemu dengan seekor kuda yang mampu bertutur bernama Bree..

bersama Bree, Shasta memulakan pengembaraannya untuk menjejakkan kaki ke tanah Narnia.. namun, semasa dalam pelarian Shasta dan Bree dengan secara tidak sengaja telah mendengar tentang plan orang-orang daripada Calormen untuk menakluk tanah Narnia..

seperti terpanggil, Shasta dan Bree telah nekad untuk mendahului orang-orang Calormen bagi memberitahu tentang bahaya yang bakal mendekati Narnia..

dapatkah Shasta memberi amaran kepada Narnia?

Lucy was the first person that walk into the big old wardrobe which is located in one of the room in the Professor house, when she walked in she is actually walked into the world called Narnia. while in Narnia, Lucy thought she already has been there for at least few hours but actually it only take few second in real world.

once she comeback from Narnia, Lucy told Peter, Susan and Edmund regarding the new adventure and new friend that she meet there. but for them they thought Lucy only creating the story. later, it was Edmund turns to walk to Narnia when he accidentally hiding into the wardrobe. so Lucy thought her brothers and sister will believe her story about Narnia, but instead she has been turn down by Edmund because Edmund didn't say the true, he said its all Lucy imagination. this make Lucy feel very sad.

while in Narnia, Edmund actually has meet with the Queen Jadis which she is evil queen that claim she is the Narnia queen. while meeting Queen Jadis, she served Edmund with Turkish Delight which is will make who ever eat those food will become Queen Jadis alliance without his/her notice. so that Edmund has become Queen Jadis alliance.

for that Edmund need to persuade Peter, Susan and Lucy come to Narnia and meet Queen Jadis. why Queen Jadis ask them to come meet her was because she want to kill all of them so that they can't help to restore back Narnia glory. and this plan was never known to Edmund.

did Edmund success to persuade Peter, Susan and Lucy to come to Narnia?

apabila Digory dan Polly telah ditipu oleh pakcik Digory iaitu Uncle Andrew menjadi sebahagian daripada bahan ujikaji, mereka berdua telah memulakan pengembaraan unik seumur hidup.. dan apa yang berlaku kepada mereka berdua apabila menyentuh cincin sihir, tidaklah dapat dibayangkan oleh mana-mana ahli silap mata..

dibawa masuk ke hutan antara dunia, mereka mendapati mereka boleh memasuki ke mana-mana dunia melalui kolam misteri yang terdapat didalam hutan tersebut.. mereka juga telah bertemu dengan seorang ratu yang jahat iaitu Queen Jadis didalam salah satu kolam misteri yang mereka masuk.. 

Digory dan Polly secara tidak sengaja telah terbawa Queen Jadis kembali ke alam nyata iaitu London.. keadaan menjadi semakin rumit apabila Queen Jadis telah membuat kecoh di tengah kota London.. dengan keadaan yang mendesak untuk membawa Queen Jadis kembali ke alamnya, Digory dan Polly sekali lagi dengan tidak sengaja telah membawa bersama Uncle Andrew dan pemandu kereta kuda bersama kudanya..

sekembalinya mereka ke hutan antara dunia, mereka telah memasuki dunia baru yang bakal dikenali sebagai Narnia..

dengan itu pengembaraan pon bermula.. buku ni den boleh kategorikan sebagai 'light reading'..
